National Pinot Noir Weekend

We are thrilled to feature our single-vineyard, highly-limited 2016 vintage pinots, most of which are entirely allocated to DG club members including a few special wines that will only be opened in the tasting room this weekend. Members and guests will also get the opportunity to taste a featured selection (or two!) from our library. A flight of five pinot noirs will be served, accompanied by a mini-cheese & charcuterie board.

Kicking off Winesong! weekend, produced by the Mendocino Coast Hospital Foundation and benefiting the Mendocino Coast District Hospital, this weekend of award-winning wine begins with a spectacular food, wine & music event. Hosted by Little River Inn, this memorable event features Pinot Noir from renowned Anderson Valley, as well as from other wineries in Mendocino County and award-winning pinot regions. 

Little River Inn pairs these great Pinots with delectable hors doeuvres on passed trays during this fun pinot tasting.  
General Admission ticket holders receive commemorative glass and all access to A Pinot Noir Celebration.

Mushroom Day with Mycopia

Mushrooms and pinot go together like peas and carrots. We love pairing DG pinot noir with mushroom recipes, especially the unique varieties cultivated by our neighbors, Mycopia Gourmet Mushroom. Join us as Mycopia, local pioneers in specialty mushrooms, returns to host an intriguing mushroom seminar at 2pm on Saturday September 28th in our cellar. Learn about foraging, different varieties of fungi, and how mushrooms promote sustainability. Delicious, savory Mycopia mushroom bread pudding will also be served as part of the experience.

Meet Master Sommelier Catherine Fallis at Dutton-Goldfield in support of her newest book '10 Grapes to Know'. Catherine will guide us through a wine tasting, including the Dutton-Goldfield wines featured in her book. Catherine Fallis is the fifth woman in the world to earn the title of Master Sommelier. She is the creator of Planet Grape Wine Review, the first female-lead wine review platform in the US, provides wine consulting services, and writes for The Tasting Panel Magazine, SOMM Journal, and other publications. Join us in an evening in appreciation of wine, and learn a little something from the very best. Tickets include a signed copy of her book, and flight of wine.

Harvest Party

Come party with the DG team, our favorite club members, and guests in celebration of Dutton-Goldfield’s 21st Anniversary Harvest! Guests will enjoy a flight of our newest releases which highlight the depth and breadth of our portfolio. Test your skills in our first-ever grape stomp competition and see if you have what it takes! Learn more about our special single-vineyard sites with an in-depth viticultural display, and test your olfactory acuity at our aroma station. We will have Franchetti's incredible wood-fired pizzas (from 12-3pm) and live music by singer songwriter Sebastian St. James!

Tickets include flight of wine, salad, and 8" wood-fired pizza.

Reservations recommended. Due to the intimate size of our hospitality space, please no groups greater than 7 guests. We hope to see you soon!

Pinots and Plaid

Emily Martin Events will be hosting a high end premium Pinot Noir Tasting for San Francisco & Bay Area Pinot Noir lovers and foodies. Guests will taste Pinot Noir (and a few Chardonnays) from approx 25 of the Top California Pinot Noir Producers. The wines will have food pairings so guests not only experience the fabulous wines but also enjoy light appetizer pairings. 

The high-end, luxury Pinot Noir Tasting will include a "Drink for a Cause" element with a portion of ticket sales benefiting two San Francisco charities: Meals on Wheels SF and Mission Graduates.
